A Database of Memory As A Ghost Phenomenon


Geographical Encryption of Non Local Memory? 


In the last post I touched base with Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" wherein Scrooge was haunted by his own memory in the form of interacting with these vivid, albeit ghostly visages of his past, wherein he was able to do what few of us can accomplish, that is to say, we can never experience a raw, unedited view of ourselves from the outside looking in. I mention this both as to the nature of ghosts and the nature of memory, both of which remain as elusive as the nature of consciousness itself. Add into this mix quantum encryption. Well, you may ask, what is quantum encryption? A full explanation is beyond the purposes of this post. However, one can easily find various descriptions of it in relation to the next advances in computers which of course could be thought of as conceptual parallels of the processing that occurs in our minds. Yet a computer is not sentient in of itself. Bear in mind the locations of ghost phenomenon whether it is human ghosts of memory or non human simulations when you read this excerpt from a definition of some of the principals involved in the material manifestations utilizing memory perhaps as a metaphor for experiential paranormal simulations that appear to be material and yet are not.


"The goal of position-based quantum cryptography is to use the geographical location of a player as its (only) credential. For example, one wants to send a message to a player at a specified position with the guarantee that it can only be read if the receiving party is located at that particular position. Who has access and who does not. Who experiences paranormal realities and who does not. Think of position as coherence in relation to the possession of a key that unlocks non local memory. You cannot read the message unless you share a database or portions thereof being utilized by the sender and these are restricted messages. In other words, not everyone can read them and they may be read incorrectly ( garbled) in the receipt of them as incoherent. 
Then add to this layer cake, the totality of memory both in local and non local fields and the happenstance of experiential access to them, whether it is the form of a human ghost comprised of local memory, or the ghost of various other forms that like biological memory are affixed to materialism by physical neurons in a net and yet cannot be seen except by the mind gaining access to them in a form of local encryption. Yet memory is the essence of ghost encounters on a microcosm. You possess the key.I cannot possess your key.
Both this type of ghost as well as other types represent a simulation of past experiential interaction with the environment via memory, and yet to experience them does not mean, for example that the folks or situations you interact with in a local dream state or a haunting, or alleged non local encounters with aliens are real in the sense of being material. Yet , we fill in the gaps that represent holes in our knowledge of them by saying , in effect, both forms are memory are sentient in of themselves. I find this odd. To me, this is the equivocation of saying there are little people in our television sets, or that the automated call systems we begrudgingly interact with actually represent a live person. Perhaps you catch my drift..
Add to this that everything we experience is indirect by means of simulations. Not that the external world does not exist, but we cannot directly access it other than by the simulations of the mind.

Is The Cell The Body or is The Body The Progenitor?
One of the fascinating counterpunctual aspects of the mass mind of consensus reality is the surface tension that is felt increasingly between the traditional arbiters and intermediaries of  information and those who chose to explore what Krisnamurti termed a "pathless land." Ridding oneself of the coloration that enters the clear liquid of perception is a daunting challenge..one that requires a sort of erasure of one's embedded doublespeak and perhaps to hold two contradictory binaries at arm's length and simply determine that these dualistic whirligigs of  the personal and the transpersonal represent an absent commodity in our human environment of competitive and increasingly contradictory aims on a societal level in a marketplace of sloganeering propaganda between the buyer and the seller.
Mark Twain put it simply;"All I know is what I read in the newspaper"
No one individual is responsible so no one is, says P.D Ouspensky.
The Forteans took the radical approach of pointing out the demonstrable contradictions of  consensus knowledge long before the Uncertainty Principle surfaced.
 Gurdjieff said the issue is with the observer who simply happens to be largely, a well trained parrot. Nietzsche went so far in this conceptual model of the mind being an objectification of automatism that  he placed it in Time\ Space via Eternal Recurrence. Then again the Air Force recently announced that robotic weapons will always have a human trigger man to insure that killing is not impersonal matter, as if this has not been the case leading back to our animal origins as war faring tribes with territorial prerogatives on natural resources, which of course is a sort of automatism itself.



The Autopilot of Historical Significance?
The question is we don't know what is missing and many assume what you see is what you get, while others what you don't see gets you. Hmmm...Is the historical world a machine or does it require someone occupying it, free of the mythologies, propaganda and baggage that has literally taken a life of it's own? One thinks of McLuhan's philosophy that harkens back to Luddites, that industrialization has made man an extension of his machines, now perhaps the robotic extension of his invention of The Synthetic Age, where the distinctions between using a tool and being an extension of our tools has reached a sort of exponentially inbred level of babble.




A Distant Star As Oneself
In regard to the last post, "The Tale of Two Planets" I recall faintly an obscure traditional myth of South America that explained the deluge at the end of the last Ice Age as a response from the Gods to the unceasing babble of humanity. That is certainly an expression of post editorial cynicism regarding the human condition. You could say all of this is depressingly predictable but there are some who would reasonably disagree with that premise. And in this season of Christmas for Christians and Non
Christians, maybe there is a hope poised against hope that thank goodness, there are other human beings in dialog as I write this who explore this very topic. One could say with reasonable certainty that should anyone see through this miasma of the mass of observers being rather helpless in the aggregate sum this would be an enlightened approach, or so it seems.





I read this short essay today..and for some reason unbeknownst to me, due to my own automatism I immediately connected this with Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" as well as the serviceable defining of what is missing when it is contrasted to the increasing polarization and isolation of the individual buried underneath the machinery of patented bullshit.

"For expediency’s sake, I’ll define enlightenment as a complex and multi-faceted process by which the mind comes to know – and over time rest more securely in – its own ground. As this happens, our habitual sense of being a separate and bounded self begins to fade. I was also reminded of the saying of Gurdjieff that my thick skin prevented me from comprehending for some time, "There is no hope for humanity but there is for the individual" Humanity being composed of individuals being common sense, it all either is ending or beginning or as Dylan put it, he not being born is busy dying." Indeed. A long row to hoe that recedes into an infinite past that requires the untying of a thousand knots, a hundred lies, and the profiteering upon ignorance. Will you or this correspondent or others succeed? It may be that this question is a moot point in the face of  my own challenges in attempting to see beyond the end of my nose. The fires of an encampment of an increasing nomadic restlessness that pervades self interest.

A Tale of Two Planets

The Axis of Mythology and Realities



It began with the superimposition of a serious misinterpretation of Mayan cosmology as related to their cyclic calendar as a predictor of both human behaviorism as linked to our planetary environment. 2012 became a mascot for the sublimation of the specific issue termed climate change. Instead of greenhouse gases causing the degradation of our capability to survive in the future, all eyes turned to the safer considerations of a stone calendar as a sort of fantasy rationale of why bother? It's all fated to end anyway. It's as if we looking at for a mythology to justify human behavior, washing our hands of any real dire results from an entirely different brand of predictability.

This is a linkage, ( between the environment and human behavior )however, that has been pursued by Dr Presinger at Laurentian University for some time in neurological terms as they are related to anomalous experiential phenomenon. Then there are the experiential anomalies of a prosaic sort, or at least as we now categorize them. The Mayan calender interpretations were once thought to be an anomaly of a predictive, lost, archaic science. Then there is the matter of "the face on Mars" which turned out to be the bias projection of an tendency to anthropomorphize the random into a parallel history of the human race, which is an interesting subject onto itself. All of this could have been ripe material for the last entry on the subject of psychological parapolitics. We sit in the projection both and ask who scripted this slipshod crap in the face of the slow drip of the ongoing degradation of the very air we breathe as well as the increasingly violent nature of extreme weather instability.



Even the Nasqbandi Sufi's climbed on the apocalyptic mountain of presumed certainty, only to find that dire anticipation stretched beyond the foreseeable future. Then there is a matter of moving in inverse time to the now distant past of Mars, a planetary doppleganger  that finds us peering over the edge of time, into the subterranean depths within it's deep well, while our own predictive models of the atmosphere's antics are now consistently being rewritten every year. Crisis what crisis? The blurring of myth and history also intersects on what is now appearing to be a growing interest in the catastrophic weather that occurred at the ending of the Ice Age, which is superimposed into the globally preserved accounts of The Flood, even go so far as to enter Atlantis in the form of a tsunami being considered, as well as the increasing discovery of archaic structures being found along the oceanic coats over the whole of the globe, suggesting what is now ocean was once land.

Then we have the loss of atmosphere on Mars that is currently being studied by robotics, and NASA has apparently made what they term, a history making discovery, that most regard as a harbinger of an announcement that life once existed on Mars. One senses the confluence of several streams of human conjecture that have each taken their own course to make a pathway only to co-join and project where the combined stream may lead....as uncertain as that path may be, whether it is in the pages of a fictional novel, or the data points being analysed from that remote planet.


Then we have this bit of dialog inserted into the mix courtesy of Dr Michio Kaku. Life on Earth as a transit of contingencies as another context of prophecy.One theory as to the loss of the Martian atmosphere is that Mars lost its magnetic field, without which it was defenseless against the brutal onslaught of solar radiation which stripped anything not nailed down (like air) off the planet.  As a context to this mystery, somewhat analogous in terms of another hole in our knowledge is the comparatively instantaneous erasure of the myriad of dinosaur species in one fell swoop, which brings to mind another calendar, that of the the ever changing environments of Earth, whose periodicity seems to have shortened with every marked distinction of transformation. Rodney Collin would assert this is evidence of the velocity of time-space increasing, while the  hole in our atmosphere perhaps predicts another. A coin toss.

All of this may present the layers of an onion that blurs the distinctions between myth, the fictional literature of Tonnies and Bradbury,  science , existentialism, and the foundational offspring of religious social movements, in relation to the prophetic projections of catastrophic natural disasters  in relation to Nature being the agent of Divine intelligence rather than simpler causal explanations. Just below the surface of our oceanic environment of realities, an undercurrent seems to be cresting...rather than a predictable calendar based date for a catastrophe, it may be the uncertainty rather than predictability that is being amplified.

Psychological Parapolitics

Legos and Logos


The consideration of meaning, relationships and associations appear to be, at times, a multilevel arrangement borrowed to be arranged from a box of Legos or Logos..structural elements of essentially relationships that are contingent upon their prior arrangement..as navigation aids in orienting ourselves to the environment based upon consensual terms. Herein lies a issue. Words as the fractals of  that have no meaning outside of the architecture of language, or perhaps in more complex terms, a quanta of  a recipe improvised and then superimposed on  experiential and observable contingencies of existence. Beyond this is a freedom to discern entanglement when one directly experiences it but unfortunately most in the paranormal social movement fail to learn that the map is not the landscape. This post concerns psychological baggage and loaded language.

In Absence of A Definition



One could imagine these triads of meaning, relationships and associations as a form of inner ( sign, signified etc) semiotics of Self as a "personality" in the form of a software as the sectional interlocked frames of a ghostly geodesic sphere as well as Lego\ Logos components. The essence of a dream state based upon referents as edicts, having no meaning that can can be valuated of it's own nature, but rather utilizing those we borrow that are on loan to us..as a sort of  homeless scavenger of self referential comfort.
The question is if the simulations of the mind as organised is an entirely local phenomenon like a firefly flickering inside of a glass jar that is entirely a product of  a subtle form of puppetry, a sort of zombie sentience that only possesses a cellular intelligence of "rationality" whose autonomic processes are masked by a lack of comparisons. We seek comparisons without a self definition. Can a human being ultimately define itself in this manner? As a result, do we look to ourselves in guises through mythological roles that portray a sort of demented omniscience, whether it be the Gods or Extraterrestrials in the beneficence of pathological controls upon an ill defined creature such as ourselves?

This question underlines every consideration of the paranormal as well as the social movements known as religion and both have strikingly similar psychological drivers that essentially do not seek the transpersonal but rather underline a subtle form of human self aggrandizement, as to bury a shared secret so deeply, no one dare speak it's name.. unless you are Samuel Beckett whose characters are the set pieces that contest our inner world. The theater of memory as the firefly caught in a glass jar as the abject example of what Auden named as "the terrible beauty of the universe." The Gnostic conception of the Demiurge morphed into Burrough's Nova Police, the realm of minds without consciousness. In the light of all this one can think of Gurdjieff's prediction that "there is no hope for humanity but there is for the individual."  And so Utopian dreams are understandable, and yet we pose alternative models of our own species as superior to ourselves which seems to be a sublimated wish fulfillment. Pinocchio dreaming of no longer being a puppet while seemingly incapable of the realization that he is when awake.



The Social Politics of The Mind

One could reasonably say that this is the consensus of experiential observation, while religion as a early conceptualizing social media suggested very vaguely structured variations based on a model of Human  animal bias projections of superior animals ( whether one or several ) that tried to demarcate similarities from incommensurable realities ie: meaning what we do not know is familiar, recognizable. Interestingly, at the time and as a sort of genetic transference across generations, to think that a central organizing principle may be beyond our comprehension or even capability lacked the sort of utility, or pragmatism in terms of what can be disseminated in social and consensual terms. One could say the human being is a social chameleon driven by the consensus of his peers, therefore the colorless and odorless truth takes on the cultural correlation of his psychological environment formulated by consensus on terms. Terms that channel cognizance into projected and conceptual representations of something quite nameless. The psychological baggage of an isolated planetary society.



The Heavenly Laws of A Jungle.

The Nazi propagation of Nietzsche's Superman is the material translation of anthropomorphic Human like God that radically borrowed from Darwin as a nightmare of existentialism empowering animal drives, just as the Old Testament portrayed a uber controlling superior Human \ animal as a organizing principle of the universe.. Of course all of this has been recombined by the conceptually superior animal of The Extraterrestrial. I social terms we could reasonable suggest all of this is a sublimated cry of humanity to recognize that the lack of any internal organizing principle that allows the repeatable transmissions of behaviorism that is not self destructive due to this weakness...If we remove the patina of divine intervention, Moses remains a formidable social activist and Jesus remains an equally formidable reformer of Judaism. However, perhaps outcomes are less predictable as Israel and the Palestinians shoot rockets at one another in the 21st Century. And then there is the case of Jesus having the same predictable unforeseen results as being the borrowed mascot of some adjudicated bad human tendencies too numerous to be listed here. The point in bringing this up, is the superimposition of supernatural behavioral controls, whether it is a burning bush or an alien encounter, we seem to layer everything with a patina of our expectations. One could say there are equally misfired behaviorism backed by the purveyors of  Roswell, that seeming associate the crucified Jesus with the murder of knowledge regarding the superior Extraterrestrial, who could intervene in our age of mutually assured self destruction. In both cases the Centurions armed with either spears or nuclear armed bombers do the dirty work via material murder as mirror images of  each other tasked with destroying the corpus of knowledge, and thus burying both the human and humanoid Janus faces of potential saviors as controlling influences on human behaviorism.

That and Thou As Inseparable? 

The entire situation is edited for valuation in terms of defining these associations relationships and meanings with the editorial purview of their predictive, repeatable application poised against the void of any self defining language in regard to the nature of self awareness when it is surgically separated from it's environs.
If self awareness is separable from it's material composition as an organizing principle of external stimulants..one would think it's environs  as observable , non verbal  presence would be either vanish or not. If not a point of individuation in relationship, what would such a self aware distinction be without any distinguishing referents from without?
Is this even feasible beyond being simply another recombination of theoretical speculations on the nature of Death? Is this a inference that the human being and his environment are inseparable? If so, what does this possibility suggest in terms of the mind being separated from it's tether?

A Rumination On Shadows and Mirrors

Lovecraft, Mac Tonnies and Hungry Ghosts



The Tentacles of  Our Shadows?
The ecumenical totem of freedom has always been poised against material necessity, whether we are hunter gatherers of sustenance from the plains or in search of the next gasoline station. A species pulled like taffy between dreams and broken toe nails, and yet, we navigate the margins between the lines of our own personal religion of personality, wedged into a role we have little or no say as to how it was written as well as how it plays out. An improvisational brand of contingent certainties makes for polite conversation or catastrophe. All of which are materialized by the context of whose script  suits best our psychological weaknesses in what is apparently a random form of denying any bewilderment is taking place at the nature of defining exactly what environment we happen to occupy as experienced by billions of habitations bored through our respective aggregate sum of pinhole lenses, each of which represents one individuation of a aggregate relationship much larger than any one point of observation. This occurs perhaps as we float in a membrane of the recombination of associative instincts, propelled by dreams, encrusted with the totemic icons of meanings that are a tunnel leading toward a imperceptible darkness. While our biological senses remain locked on the targets that editorially prevent the view leading forward from determining where all this leads.



The Interception of Dreams
The assumption is we are awake in sentience, but the evidence is largely the propaganda of necessity provided by the hunter gatherers of sustenance. The rational as positivist post editorial balm. Yet, the reader may ask, what am I pointing toward, as I view the cartography I walk atop as a sort of learned amnesiac?
Is the acknowledgement of uncertainty, a path to freedom or is any poise of certainty, a pragmatic sort of inbred stop gap tool of organizing mass consensus or shall we say, a group mind? Bewilderment as a natural state of affairs seems to be always peculating behind self hypnosis, or should I say, that this ordering of our hierarchies is the bed that inference and suggestion lay upon? Oddly, there appears to be no accident in this were it a design, and so what is it we are swimming upstream against?

Either \or as a binary contradiction in logic be a dead end formulation of the question as we may be enmeshed between two ends of a stick, or again, the metaphor of a tunnel comes to mind, while Plato preferred a cave. Regardless of the metaphor there is a match set of darkness whether it is the observation of strange anomalies that fits as a puzzle piece perfectly into the dark and overwhelming blind spot we own by default, when it comes to what we may represent. All of the above is furiously bypassed when it comes to the aforementioned bewilderment, uncertainty and the pavement of positivist icons we pave this over with for our own uneasy, yet self comforting peace of mind.



More to the point, if individually the organisation of energy is the expression of tones, coloration's of the associations we are seemingly possessed by do not evaporate into the ether upon the death of our host, what then, is being created, out of sight and mind? That is to say, all of this equally unceasing and recombinative points of comparative relationships of "consciousness" as energy signatures weaving, quilting a holographic and cellular intelligence may represent a new form of life that is not wrought by the sun directly, but is in the shadows, in an impenetrable realm that surfaces with it's tentacles from time to time. I sense this more than understand this. One way to imagine this relationship is to imagine a sphere that represents the reversed mirror imagine of a hollow earth in the that center or axis is composed of semi-solids ( which we occupy) that is surrounded by a field of delimited potential that is the product of billions of points of reference that have been created as a storage library that has become aware of itself in a sort of infantile manner. One would be tempted to use loaded terms like Heaven but those are archaic and drastically reductionist conceptions from my point of view. Of course who or what is the ghost is contingent upon where one is located as Ibn Al Arabi suggested we are in a matrix where the invisible becomes material and the material is becoming invisible.



The New Lords of A Post Human Planet
Are all of these pinhole lenses interconnected into a matrixed organisation of cellular intelligence that may appear to be sentient but is not. That this large Creatura composed of hundred of billions of experiential data points of reference as a probe leaning toward our pole is also self organizing and if so, undoubtedly is parasitic to our experience as well as intentionally manipulative as only as far as it assumes results correspondent to determining it's own nature by the comparison of materialism forms we also manipulate.
Take your pick, flying saucers, the expressions of the dead, the cryptic creatures that defy identification, the ghost ships of the sea and sky..Are all of these staged for the sake of provocation to draw a response as much as our own material senses probe to determine relational aspects of what constitutes ourselves, by both limit and experimentation? Perhaps the means is our own primal fear that is the trigger that feeds a certain hunger akin to becoming, which is only a another word for evolution.
Perhaps Mac Tonnies metaphor of Ray Bradbury's Martian specters rooted in the soils of our psyche was but a taste of what may become the shadow inheritor of a seemingly silent planet, devoid of any human voice, in terms of nature always being the invention of adaptation to the transformation of a planetary environment.


The dark landscape of Cthulhu with subterranean bridges to the surface of our own topography only has the precepts of our own cognition to manipulate as much as we do as tool makers to explore space, not by construction but by deconstruction to determine the differentials of relations between It and Us.
Yet we are certainly are one set of parents, among several to what lurks unseen. Similar and yer dissimilar, as parasitic to the psyche as we are to the body. They perhaps eat as they are eaten, digested through  a razor's edge. Probes of a dreamscape in search of a coherent identity just as we occupy the opposing surface of this sphere, where the inside is outside and the outside is internalized...If the environmental deterioration of our atmosphere continues unabated, perhaps in terms of spectral existence, as above, so below may apply and as a consequence, Mac Tonnies vision of a post catastrophic landscape on Mars may be more prophetic than we can surmise at the moment, albeit closer to home.

A Matter of Mattering: Stardust and The Microcosm of Observation.




The articulate nature of this video interview with Edgar Mitchell reflects much of the probing in the form of exploratory posts I have placed here as well as in the past, specifically drawn out at Intangible Materiality.
Earlier today, in this same context, I had spent some time ruminating on the nature of our own nature and what drives some, ( or perhaps more accurately), what compels some toward such a interest in the poorly termed subject and entangled sociology of the para-normal . Call it loaded language versus non verbal experiential reality. Mind the gap.
 The only other terribly wrought term I can think of as a comparison is Ufology, which continues digesting itself in a zombie form of sentience, in an afterlife of blurred and failed distinctions, while the clock advances the hour.
Perhaps it's time for a post mortem examination, not so much toward others and what they did and did not do, but rather why does any of this matter at all at a deeply personal level, which ironically empties toward the trans-personal. Perhaps a door opens when we leave our baggage at the door, but of course, this is easier said than done in the context of an intellectual intent and, as Edgar Mitchell suggests, perhaps the rational mind is simply an afterthought, a post-editorial  quilt written with the dust of our personal concerns as being the arbiter of any valuation.
