Another Request To Reprint A Theory of A Cetacean Cousin

Sean, another correspondent requested that I re-post this essay from July of 2010. At one point I had a cleaned up version of this post completed by another correspondent who was (is)  a Professor of History in the U.K and when my hard drive exterminated itself, that version ( a much improved one) was lost. One of the irritating effects of this essay was that a majority of readers thought I was referring to the earthly Dolphin species, which caused me to respond in a redundant and boring series of explanations afterward. Could a amphibious creature similar to the Dolphin  exist and further, if so, outside of not taking the parallels between a potential exobiology arising from a water world, could these creatures have once existed on Mars, and now reside in exile? An interesting literary parable to ponder in light of Mac Tonnie's writings regarding that planet.

The Alphabetic of Pictographic Sound Images As A Non Verbal Language and A Remote Cetacean Cousin

Preface
I would not go so far as to call this preface a disclaimer, however I think sharing my own discernment's regarding this theory or any other, is that I have no identification with ownership, inasmuch as my own sense toward any theory is to explore them but, I believe as a necessary requirement, a certain amount of ambivalence as to it's veracity as called for, while continuing to explore it's possibilities. While, at the same time, that does not mean that I assign a relativity of meaning to it, as all of this is a balancing act. I think this preface is necessary in that so much of the postulates and political positioning regarding this phenomenon revolves around selling edicts, drawing lines and leaving uncertainty at the back of the house. This is a tale of proverbial self propelled ice crystals, humming along with ghosts, seeing with your ears while reading vibrations in a coffee cup in a truck stop poised along the Milky Way. While your refuel, the local yokels blow themselves up, beat each other with sticks, and are held at bay by their own stupidity thrown back at them. All it takes is a gnome or or some similar bone thrown their way, and they will be mesmerized for centuries.
Uncle Rufus puts down his coffee and surveys this scene of technologically enhanced pandemonium, and offhandedly comments, "No wonder they think they are monkeys."
As for me, I sit on the curb watching the interstellar traffic go by like the strings of freight trains in my youth, off to some distant destination that fueled my imagination by the side of a railroad track. This track however cuts through our presumed orientations, biological and otherwise upon a tangent path that leaves us in the dust drawing petrographic obscenities with our left shoe.

An Emerging Profile?

I have written several speculative, short essays on a creature that portrays for me, personally, the best candidate for insertion into the probability that another species, unknown to us, is here rather than there and may have a origin elsewhere.

If this is so, then a great deal could be learned from a similarity in relation to an incomparability among us, which also fascinated Dr John Lilly. Another issue I have explored recently is the ownership issue of natural resources, and the oceanic realm as a natural resource for purposes other than our own may represent an impetus for the scenario we are experiencing, beyond the signal noise of cultural lunacies. A language of sound images seems to fit the pictographic evidence that there may be a language constituted of sound as images that does an end run around the methodology you are currently using to comprehend what I am expressing. The cymatic aspect of this in relation to crop circles meaning the use of high frequency sound to create pictographs, also clicked when I reviewed the work of Ivan Sanderson in relation to unidentified underwater craft as inferring similarity of a thread around a twist, that is to say could a creature that resembled an amphibious cetacean arise elsewhere? While this may sound fantastic, a direct transcription of sound waves as a image corresponding to dolphin phonics is not,

http://cymatica.com/2009/11/14/cymatics-used-to-create-dolphin-alphabet/

That is not to say that a cymatic pattern is a transcription of an abstraction such as a written alphabet or an accurate image of what the dolphin sees with sound versus ours that utilizes photons, but rather pictographs representing more complex relationships may have some bearing inasmuch as you cannot derive a meaning if I only typed in one word instead of a combinatorial series of them to allow you to understand what I am saying. The evolution of this type of reliance on sound as a simulation of an image versus ours using light waves, makes one think of the greater efficiency under the absence of comparatively high light levels that sound can travel much longer distances underwater.

However, in daylight, if these creature rely on sound versus light, one could easily infer they prefer nocturnal journeys out of their primary habitat. This is only speculation. One would think their technical extensions of their senses would be quite different. In other words, sound images as a system that would translate light waves into sound, and to communicate beyond their natural habitat, the sound would be transferred into light waves. This then perhaps leads one to consider the phenomenon of crop circles as a form of indentation that could be read by the topography by reflecting sound from them. Perhaps that is the reason they are not created by simply color demarcations or shades. This is only one possibility out of several. Another interesting possibility is the type of communications systems that would have to operate outside of the frequency range of the irradiation output of their vehicles, which could utilize a band or a shielding mechanism that would not be susceptible to localized interference. Sound monitoring outside of the normally utilized frequencies could be a means to intercept any potential signal communications arising from them.

Consider our limited range of non-augmented hearing. It is worse than a dog, yet the investigative consensus is that UFOs are silent, which always struck me as extremely presumptive. Another interesting as aspect of this theory relates to "abductions" that may not be abductions in the literal meaning of the word.

Dr Vallee recently drew up a list of suspects regarding crop circles and again, although the experimental testing of military weaponry was an equally good candidate beyond the local yokels, I was reminded once again of the relationship of sound to energy and in particular, the frequency of microwaves, which then lead me back to investigate the frequencies of sound that would be utilized by a sound based creature who communicated through sound images rather than a alphabetically based vocabulary.

Another avenue is the fact that thought processes on the edge of sleep tend to differ radically from those of ordinary wakefulness. Hypnagogic cognition, in comparison with that of normal, alert wakefulness, is characterized by heightened suggestibility, illogic and a fluid association of ideas. Those in this state readily incorporate external stimuli into hypnagogic trains of thought and subsequent dreams. What interests me is that this receptivity has a physiological parallel; EEG readings show elevated responsiveness to sound around the onset of sleep. Is this a state wherein a sophisticated sound based technology or biological capability manipulate dream imagery? Is this related to the implantation of "abduction" scenarios by a cetacean cousin who has long term knowledge of this technology? Are these simply tests of this technique in advance of a larger scheme of inter species communication? Another aspect is that the cetaceans use sound to "paralyze" their "prey" which appears to correspond to what has been reported. Again if the range of this capability is beyond our own hearing, then the "magical" capability to freeze the subject in place, may not be so mysterious but has no sensory evidence to draw a link with this capability.

The insertion of a standardized test scenario that incorporates seeming absurd actions makes for a elegant self negating variant of plausible deniablity authored by the experimenters. Opportunistic and covert testing may be the key word in regard to when why and how when it is performed on (naturally )involuntary subjects. Another variation of replicating Manchurian Candidates to disseminate absurdities while being human guinea pigs, has proved to be, if true, a very effective cover, to date. Of course they would be kept in their own environments to assure the viability of a these experimental communication techniques. The subjects are trapped in a very effective cultural double bind. Another interesting possibility I suggest to researchers in this area of interest is to explore the efficacy of sound emitting devices to foil this capability of "theirs" whose frequencies could be attenuated through experimentation.

The sound of persistent anomalous low frequency "hums" that seemingly have no direct environmental source in disparate locations is another strange anomaly that may or may not fit into this theoretical scenario as a speculative factor in regard to long range communications of a type similar but in advance of VLF communications (coincidentally?) utilized by our submarine fleet for long range, under water signal transmissions. Interestingly another clue that may or may not have a bearing on my theory that arose in relation to these low frequency, localized mysteries of sound. which asks if there is a covert probing of the atmosphere as a detection technology poised to survey these creatures communications activity?

http://publicintelligence.net/elfvlf-wave-injection-and-magnetospheric-probing-with-haarp/
Another piece of this jigsaw may be something that researchers have rarely commented upon unless they read something like "Oceanic magnetic anomaly amplitudes: variation with sea-floor spreading rate and possible implications." What is a fact is that the seabed is full of magnetic anomalies ( their term) which are likely caused in their theories by crustal displacement by the spreading of the continents. However, if environmental factors are important to any subsea technology perhaps there are areas that are more conducive to a base of operations, while at the same time, some may not be. Then if this is correlated to canyons..well, this is another long winded affair...

These are the questions I have asked myself. Another intriguing aspect of this phenomenon as a scenario fraught with either coincidences and potential dead ends, is none the less, countered by the oddly coincidental physical characteristics of these creatures as reported, that could resemble bipedal cetaceans, as illustrated below by one of the four Allagash Incident gentlemen, for your review.

The more I studied what we know of the evolution of our terrestrial counterpart, the more I could see a recombination of environmental factors elsewhere that could produce a creature equally adapted to water and atmosphere that was essentially, a mammal. The steering of the evolution of their technology would follow a parallel path similar to our own in that it would be adapted to their environment and biology. The communication of sound carrying three dimensional images through the medium of both water and atmosphere would certainly be more efficient in comparison to our own and the linkage of pictograms to sound patterns presenting a three dimension image makes both shorthand and the technology of musical tones as portrayed in "Close Encounters" hopelessly crude affairs.

The food source of this creature would likely be other creatures of the sea, just as a great deal of ours comes from land, however whether they would be omnivores is just comparative and speculative parsing.

Ultrasound In Water Based Propulsion, Virtual Reality Abductions and Cymatic Crop Circles.

"Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."-Lewis Carroll

"The heavenly motions... are nothing but a continuous song for several voices, perceived not by the ear but by the intellect, a figured music which sets landmarks in the immeasurable flow of time."
-John Banville: Kepler, (Minerva 1990)

Ultrasound is pulsed, cyclic sound which is a vibration transmitted through a solid, liquid, or gas, composed of frequencies within the range of hearing and of a threshold of hearing to be heard, or the sensation stimulated in organs of hearing by such vibrations and 20 kHz serves as a useful lower limit in describing ultrasound. The production of ultrasound is used in many different fields, typically to penetrate a medium and measure the reflection signature or supply focused energy.

Scattered throughout the world, in various locations, there are persistent and often continuous, audible background frequencies in the from of what is described as humming, which signifies perhaps a new manifestation of a larger portrait, in the manifestations of resonance, of sound as a newly anomalous medium. http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_18_4_deming.pdf In this paper we begin to find the beginning of a thread, regardless of it's slender nature, when the author mentions the symptoms involved with exposure;

"There are also a suite of symptoms associated with the Hum that bear no apparent relationship to tinnitus. These include physical illness (headaches, nausea, etc.)and perceived vibrations.[She] knows it isn’t tinnitus because the humming is so strong she gets vibrations through her body (Palfreyman, 1999: 29).Being internally generated, tinnitus is not dependent on the location of the hearer. But people who hear the Hum are occasionally able to find relief in certain locations. There have been reports of Hummers [Hum hearers] going into deep limestone caves when the noise completely ceases . (Sheppard & Sheppard, 1993: 115)."

In relation to the nature of these anomalous frequencies, as well as a potential technology that may exploit the sensory modality of a cetacean creature who while being amphibious as an air breathing mammal utilizing sound rather than light waves, then we come to an interesting Naval facility. While the great majority of interest in the potential study of the UFO phenomenon is based upon the resources of the Air Force, few consider AUTEC as a prime base of such operations.

"The Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) range systems provide accurate underwater and in-air tracking for both firing platforms and targets using a variety of acoustic beacons and sensors. By taking advantage of the growing maturity of underwater acoustic telemetry, AUTEC can also provide two-way digital data communications with submarines operating at speed and depth. Systems already under test have demonstrated reliable, secure, two-way data transmission over several nautical miles at data rates exceeding one kilobit per second (Kbps). While this is neither wide-band nor long range, it adequately supports the current requirement, and expected advancements will bring higher data rates and longer ranges in the future."

These anomalous events of far ranging frequencies have no apparent source, however as in all things paranormal, there appears to be what is a admittedly slender but fascinating thread attenuated to a specific frequency beyond the range of human hearing whose effects and source are equally little understood. One could envision a powerful yet hidden resonance that bespeaks of a proverbial communications signal, of course to do so requires a corresponding stretch in the spectrum of our rightful skepticism. Then again, ultrasound can be modulated to carry an audio signal (like radio signals are modulated). This is often used to carry messages underwater as the received ultrasound signal is decoded into audible sound by a modulated-ultrasound receiver. Is this one portion of a scattered profile of a non human sentience, creatures whose technology much as our own, are based on a biology that has produced communication and their own technologies in a form we are ill prepared to comprehend? Then again we have the UFO phenomenon also associated with under water operations, which then links into this thread further along.

While I do not think it a reasonable proposition that we are visited by a non human life form in a manner which reflects an empirical biology, the imp of the perverse retains an open mind. In this I seek a profile in the aggregate sum of the evidence, which is distinctly indirect, abstracted by human signal noise and filtered by editing in the processing of belief systems.A profile of our alleged offenders to our evolutionary strain seems more apt as we peer through the distorted lens of our unique biology through the looking glass.

In this, one can envision a world unlike our own, in which evolution in terms of our own has followed the opposite tact of migration. Instead of land creatures ambulating toward an oceanic destination, we have these that have arisen from the water onto land. Whilst we are attenuated in our biological adaptation to the radiance of sunlight, they have been organized in their senses to be attenuated to sound as a medium that has adapted technology to suit their biology, as well as language,a form of communication lacking a tongue, and a set of paradigms so unlike our own, it would be as though one were directly comparing water to a stone..although we envision and use language as a recombinant equation, some species, such as the Cetacean use sound as a carrier of complex relationships as a reality map without the use of the choreography found in a direct symbology, such as an alphabet as demonstrated by this chart of intonations, which may as well represent a musical scale in the place of alphabetic correlations.

In all my research on species here on earth looking for a variant of this profile, I have arrived to encounter a phantasmagorical creature that is a bipedal variant of a Cetacean as these offending creatures paint mental pictures between themselves with three dimensional sound in the a more advanced manner of images used by their remote cousins, use water as a fuel, and image materiality through cymatics, the images of sound. In this it is perhaps understandable that the dissimilarity of sensory orientation undoubtedly would produce some bizarre effects relegated to a bit of undigested beef. Of course, this leads to some sticky entanglements in relation to our own proclivity to slaughter their closest living relations to be placed upon a sushi bar. Try explaining that.

One of the interesting aspects of an "abduction" event,as well as that of some close encounters, which I term induction, is the range of symptoms that correspond to the short term physiological symptoms of a human being exposed to prolonged ultrasound which are nausea, fatigue, isolation, annoyance, difficulty concentrating, absenteeism from work, being prone to accidents as well as headaches. The physiological effects are longer term stress, muscle tension, ulcers, increased blood pressure, and hypertension. Interestingly ultrasound is being used in a variety of biophysical applications among which is the manipulation of the brain from without. In Technology Review, an article entitled "Targeting the Brain with Sound Waves: Ultrasound Might Provide A New, Noninvasive Way To Control Brain Activity." was fascinating in it's capability to activate brain activity from afar.
http://beta.technologyreview.com/biomedicine/22746/?nlid=2078 In this one considers the possibility that if creatures who use intonation in a unique musical scale to communicate a virtual image could such images be "broadcast" to our own modality of reception?

This brought to mind the Visi-Sonor as envisioned by Isaac Asimov which was an entertainment device which appeared to create both sound and light by acting directly on brain cells as well as it also stimulated emotions directly as well as the nature of our close relations the dolphin and their mode of spoken communications.

Recently I read a interesting blog in relation to this concept of alleged science fictions in the form of a book review by Bob Matherne, whose entire piece can be read here http://www.doyletics.com/_arj1/lillyond.htm

"While reading Paul Watzlawick's How Real Is Real recently, I was taken aback by statements he made about how dolphins communicate. (Note: My ideas of how dolpins communicate have been embodied in a novel, The Spizznet File). I had been studying the new computer field known as Virtual Reality in which eyephones containing small television sets focus images on human retinas and the result is a filling of the field of vision to create a semblance of reality. The sudden juxtaposition of dolphin communication and Virtual Reality (VR) led me to visualize how dolphins communicate. In a flash of insight I saw that dolphins create a VR with their vocal apparatus - a visual virtual reality similar to the VR's created using computers. Just as a human spinning tales around a campfire might conjure up images of times long past - a dolphin telling a story will conjure up images in its delphinine listeners, but the delphinine images will be external visual, whereas in humans the conjured images are internal visual.

The triggering passage for me in the Watzlawick book was the story of the fishing boats with the harpoon guns and the killer whales. Apparently some killer whales, who witnessed the episode had notified nearby killer whales that a fishing boat had killed one of their pod with a harpoon gun. All the whales, immediately after the killing, began to avoid only the fishing boats with the harpoon guns, and to continue to approach identical boats without the harpoon gun. The author made a point about the degree of the killer whales's intellectual capacity as demonstrated by their transmission of the harpoon distinction auditorially. He assumed the description was a verbal description as humans know it. What I saw in my mind was the whales transmitting a visual image of the harpooning itself. The whales receiving the image would have had no trouble distinguishing the harpoon boats from the fishing boats because they would have just seen, as if on a TV news report, the killing boat and its harpoon in action. Thus no verbal, linear analytical description is necessary to account for the communication, only a holistic pictorial movie reel (transmitted auditorially, of course).

Did the dolphin researchers suspect the etiology of delphinine communication to be visual transmission of visual pictures? That question sent me scurrying to this book in my library. It contains all of Lilly's then published works on dolphins including the two books, Man and Dolphin and The Mind of the Dolphin in addition to a lecture and several journal articles. There were subtle hints that I picked up that shed insight on my hypothesis, but offered little insight to the Lilly researchers who operated on a different hypothesis."

My own interest in the ultrasonic range has to do with my previous essays on the new scientific field of biophontics, which is the latest variation of what the alchemist and physician from the Renaissance, Paracelsus, called Munis or what the chemist and physicist Val Helmont termed Magnale Magnum. In the book "Psychic Discoveries behind The Iron Curtain", 1973, the Americans, Ostrander and Schroeder, published the most interesting and and strange results of Russian investigations in what was then termed psychotronic energy, or non mechanical energy, which was their attempt at demystifying the concept of bioenergy and formulating it into words which can be understood from a technical-scientific world view. "Human beings and all living things are filled with a kind of energy that, until recently, hasn't been known to Western Science. This bio-energy, which we call Psychotronic Energy, seems to be behind PSI." In the next post, I will cover this possible connection in more detail as this is more of a general introduction to this concept of the interdependence of mind, sound and energy.

Of course there is a darker side inferred to this spectrum which is the manipulation of the mind which I first came across in a "Microwaves and Behavior" by Dr. Don R. Justesen in the Laboratories of Experimental Neuropsychology, Veterans Administration Hospital published in American Psychologist: Journal of the American Psychological Association, Volume 30, March 1975, Number 3.

For the sake of brevity, the same experimental focus appeared one year later from behind the Iron Curtain, but then as all such things in the contemporary vein of short term memory, it then vanished from view after causing a minor stir.I always held a minority view within my own range of possibilities that perhaps an advanced species could induce a hypnotic state from afar, which was in part prompted by these threads. again, one reviews the previously mentioned symptoms of ultrasound exposure to abduction phenomenon, and it becomes perhaps more compelling.

Mind-Altering Microwaves: Soviets Studying Invisible Ray
"A newly declassified U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency report says extensive Soviet research into microwaves might lead to methods of causing disoriented human behavior, nerve disorders, and even heart attacks. A copy of the study was provided by the agency to the Associated Press in response to a request under the Freedom of Information Act. Sounds and possibly even words which appear to be originating intercranially (within the head) can be induced by signal modulation at very low average power densities, the study said."

-1976 Los Angeles Herald Examiner, Section A, November 22, 1976

The relationship between sound and light is an admittedly largely unknown and mysterious force as found in the phenomenon of sonoluminescence, which can produce heat inside of a bubble hot enough to melt steel.Anyone who has a propensity to despair over the lack of new heat engines would find it's potential fascinating.Equally so I am provoked to consider this the alternative theory in regard to nuts and bolts UFOs and their propensity for water sources going so far as to apparently submerge themselves to refuel or draw water upward in what could be the production of thermonuclear power through sonoluminescence as many of our own scientists are exploring this avenue of potential applications. Is this an example of vacuum energy as theorized by Hawking?
http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/Sonoluminescence#encyclopedia

One of the most common non human reactions to close range encounters with unidentified objects also came to mind, that of dogs which seemingly signal the advance of yet unseen, unknown objects by their tortured barking inasmuch as Dogs can hear sound at higher frequencies higher than we humans can. Many dog whistles, such as the silent whistle, commonly emit ultrasound at a frequency in the range of 18 kHz to 22 kHz.

Of course the vibration of material objects causes their cavitation, as well as the production of heat and heat generation by impulse ultrasound is an interesting avenue in relation to crop circles. I have noted the similarity of some crop circle patterns to those of images produced by standing waves and other patterns seen in physics texts as a correlate to the study of cymatics which is the study of visible sound and vibration, typically on the surface of a plate, diaphragm or membrane whose vibrations involves exciting inorganic matter such as particulate matter, pastes (both magnetic and non magnetic) and liquids under the influence of sound, although recent research has extended the range of media to include organic matter and the range of viewing has been extended to include the light microscope.

This, in turn leads into the strange sounds of dolphin communication, which some have theorized actually represent a language of three or more dimensions, which have led to some interesting correlations between cymatics and dolphin language.
http://www.speakdolphin.com/research.cfm Both my daughter and myself have heard dolphin like sounds which emanated from either electronic devices in my case or in hers, in the range of what she termed shadow figures, which of course may or may not be yet another linkage in this daisy chain of speculations focused on a unique waveform.Originally I had assumed what I heard outside my window (Summer of 2002) in the first instance ( which I was to frightened to confront) was a strange form of bird call, which also incorporated a clicking sound which further disassociated me as to identifying it, however these rather weird "calls" resembled no bird I could possibly think of. When you hear these ultrasonic dolphin calls as recorded below, you will have probably the same reaction as I did when exposed to them, in that many of them sound, oddly enough like birds. This was drawn to my attention by my daughter, who has loved wildlife from an early age, and who has, nor ever had any knowledge of my own previous experience, which, when I heard from her via a phone conversation, describing these sounds as clicking "like a dolphin" would. I became particularly concerned as that this was perhaps no random coincidence and that once again these phenomenon seemed viral. To this day, I have no idea what they were have no great desire to hear them again, however, they do intrigue me.
Ultrasound also has a variety of applications from enhancing the production of crops to destroying cellular species. In the New Scientist an article entitled "Ultrasound Weapon Wipes Out Toxic Algal Blooms",brings up the subject of resonance as a more specific measurement of cavitation.http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20227086.000-ultrasound-weapon-wipes-out-toxic-algal-blooms.html?DCMP=OTC-rss&nsref=deep-sea

I have often been fascinated by the connection between crop circles, music and cymatics, and then again, these theories of sound are much more ancient than one supposes leading all the way back to Pythagoras as well as Kepler, Plato, Pliny, Cicero,Robert Fludd, John Addey, Gurdjieff and Rudolph Steiner and Ptolemy, to name a few. The astronomer Fred Hoyle agrees that the correspondence between musical ratios and planetary velocities as described by Kepler is "frighteningly good".

I was not surprised when many in the investigative community sensed that the U.S Navy was pulling the strings behind the scenes and that certain MIB events seemed to coincide with certain installations nearby. Another barrier in all the factors of any weight being assigned to this possibility is of course the tight security that has proven impenetrable in regard to reconnaissance techniques and the results by our submarine fleet in terms of intelligence reconnaissance, which of course is the main thrust of what they do underwater.

Our own interplanetary game plan involves intermediate bases on planets as stepping stones to not only explore localized conditions but to make such long distance expeditions a practical matter, in terms of a very pragmatic reason that over rides any consideration of advanced technology, which is quite basic. The acquisition of fuel, that is to say unless the highly improbable technology exists quite simply, to make something from nothing. You look at our home from afar and it is a cliche that per usual turns out to be true, we live upon a water world, which would certainly make it beyond attractive to such a theoretical creature, who also happens to match the technology arising from their own natural environment, that utilizes in some manner.the liquid medium of water converted to fuel, which may indicate hydrogen as a possible target of this equally theoretical craft. We would perhaps appear to be an all night truck stop between the vast distances of interstellar space and of course we have witness testimony such that it is that seems to correspond to my theory. Over time, I have used the superimposition of this model to test it's veracity against what has been reported and my candidate has held up quite well. That our planet is a staging base has some provocative evidence to support this theory such as the scientific analysis of shuttle mission camera footage.

http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_09_1_carlotto.pdf

Research into the extraction of hydrogen from seawater is having some success in the experimental implementation of a variety of technological applications. If a species had a significant lead time in a similar application, it would certainly simplify and solve the issue of a sustainable fuel for long distance expeditions and may be far in advance of the applications that we are only beginning to develop. In fact prior to our manned space exploration being dismantled in favor of less expensive robotic probes, the discovery of a significant amount of water on our moon prompted very serious consideration of extracting the same fuel from water there.
Here is one of the many terrestrial applications being studied;

http://www.impactlab.com/2007/03/21/scientists-use-sunlight-to-extract-hydrogen-from-seawater/

In this scheme of simply being a refueling base is operand here in any form then it is likely we are viewed as benign eccentrics and\or nuisances rather than the alternative of our overly dramatic and inflated self important potential roles we have invented in their possible utilization of this planet as a remote base for the deeper exploration of space. There seems to be more weight in the evidence for this position on their part than any abstracted scheme wherein we play some goofy starring role. We may be as fascinating as grass as I suggested in my last post.

Another intriguing clue came from "The Sirius Mystery" which described a craft from verbally transmitted traditions of initiation, that a craft that was filled with a liquid medium made contact with the Dogon Tribe which intrigued Carl Sagan who then, surprisingly led to personal attacks later on, directed at the author by Sagan himself, as well as the many "mythical" narratives that concerned hybrid or humanoid creatures coming ashore to communicate with the locals.

An early provocation was the report published of luminescent plankton patterns that resembled a underwater high frequency scan of the surface which created the reaction in the medium of these cellular creatures in the water by way of the direct path of these sound waves.

I did my own reverse keyword analysis when it became apparent that a coherent pattern that seemed to disclose a pattern recognition that went beyond mere coincidence, that made me suspect there was a working group that monitored internet traffic through perhaps the NSA, that passed along information for analysis. The organizational nature of these departmental specialties concerned land management, disease control and cyber "gates" associated with the U.S Navy. I kept this largely to myself but now I may have some sort of flimsy but interesting corroboration of my own suspicions regarding the nature of this theoretical creature in light of who the most likely candidates would be (using reverse logic) who would have to manage the biological and land-sea monitoring issues surrounding my prime suspect. All of which in of themselves on the surface of things seem to be innocent enough but would (theoretically) provide the perfect "cover" for reconnaissance and monitoring of this likelihood.

The provocative and somewhat disturbing anxiety of these possible monitoring activities may have a quite simple motivation behind them, which in of itself, has been the subject of our own forays into other worlds which does not mean an inverse scenario may be possible and justifiably feared.

http://bobkoford.blogspot.com/2010/07/aliens-and-illness.html

I do not intend to infer a criticism of these institutions due to the fact that if you reflect on the nature of their possible assignments in an investigation regarding the activities of these creatures, they are handling an extremely difficult task that I personally suspect is ongoing. In other words, take the example of a homicide detective whose role I have been told is very similar to that of a working group, in that you have an event,or events, you have witnesses whose testimony must be culled and their backgrounds and motives checked, as you attempt to put the pieces together, while still actively pursuing new clues.
This case makes all others appear extremely pale in comparison, if this theory is true. If a working group does not have a "handle" on all of the dynamics involved, while a reasonably significant portion of the public wants them to immediately show the hand they hold, it is not, by anyone's standard, an enviable situational dynamic to be entangled within. Think of false leads, copycats, psychopaths, and attention seeking individuals who want recognition for what they do not possess, which is information. This could be a very formidable, long term investigation utilizing many covert sources as well as civilian, private contractors in a counter intelligence game that promote the misdirection of attention by planted "agit-prop" pieces that either keep dead cases warm or the public and\or curious supplied with new fairy tales. This is called playing both sides against the middle to understandably buy time.

Of all the abduction scenarios I have looked into, the most compelling has been the Allagash Abductions, which when reading all the testimony from this multiple witnessed event, one small detail was kept in the back of my mind as it stood out as rather bizarre, or, as they say, interesting ( which of course may mean nothing) which was the mysterious ( unidentified) "park ranger" who seemingly appeared and then vanished into thin air when this was looked into.

In retrospect I wish I had the opportunity to discuss this with the late Mac Tonnies, who I personally think was on a similar path but diverged into his own areas of interest. In short after a long gestation period I have settled on a likely candidate and from this point onward, I will continue down this theoretical path, to the exclusion of other theories. I may be barking up the wrong tree, but this squirrel has caught my attention, and I somewhat suspect, I have caught theirs. Yes, I am certifiably mad going off on a thin limb that others have successfully and perhaps wisely have managed to avoid, but frankly, that's beside the point

Another Connection or A Coincidence?
The Allagash Incident provided many "clues" to this writer that were seemingly as overlooked as the odd insertion of a "park ranger" into the bizarre scenario. First, some background. When you read this explanation of this application of medical scanning bear in mind while doing so, the biology of our theoretical creatures as well as the potential "scanning" required of abducted subjects in relation to experimenters biology that would use sound as vision in unique ways. Outside of the aforementioned factoid concerning the capability of cetaceans to paralyze their fellow creatures in place, at will..is this scanning of abduction subjects, a means of visually mapping them, either looking for variation, subtypes or the spectrum of random features? Consider that our own wildlife biologists routinely "catch" samples of a species in order to weigh, measure and visually analyze a population from the natural environment. Is this another clue? Also, does this technique infer that in comparison to our visual acuity, they may be as blind as bats in the atmospheric environment outside of their primary habitat?

What these scans may represents is a correlation, or simply a coincidence. That is why all the evidence must be weighed against the prototype of a model, however twisted this path may be to find it, without losing the coherence of the model.

Points of Convergence or Coincidence?
In all this, I keep coming back to sensory transcriptions that at times is lodged between the cetacean sensing systems and their navigation of an atmospheric environment, as a amphibian, which they may have well, like us, adapted their systems accordingly, and yet how dissimilar they may to our own, may prove that any verification process as circumstantial as it may be, leads us down this path.

Another is of course, the physical aspect of this as it relates to the reported textures, tone, structure and behavioral characteristics of this speculative creature which approximates the closest match that I can investigate as a conceptual model. Again, the physical resemblance of these theoretical creatures are a very secondary characteristic yet seemingly allow a speculatively compatible fit. However, this brings up the strengths and weaknesses of this creatures attributes relative to ours, which may provide new avenues to explore toward a verification.

The pervasive barrier to developing a coherent theory are the ways in which science itself becomes lodged as well as homicide detectives in presenting a theory first and then looking for results by way of editing "what's allowed." Anthropomorphic models have utterly failed to match the behavior of these creatures to our own psychological agendas. And so, the following is an attempt to view behavior in terms of physiology.

Morse Code or Coherent Light Packets?
The role of fiber optics technology that utilizes light waves in coherent packets to create atmospheric sound is well established here. One of the dumbfounding aspects of witness testimony is the use of signal communications utilizing what appears to be a crude methodology for cross communications between craft in a analogous manner to Morse Code, which seems counter-intuitive in regard to the advanced nature of these craft.Another is the apparently "senseless" beams of light arising from these anomalous craft

One of the considerations I have studied is that these may be transcribing sound in a similar manner directly by way of the atmosphere, to do an end run around the lower efficiency of atmosphere to carry sound as well as a way to bypass the generation of signal noise generated by their propulsion systems. This would be useful in air to ground communications for this species as it is it would likely be enfolded into their physiology. Does this image look familiar? It is not a UFO simply because we know what it is. However the technology may ring a similar chord in the technologies of advanced terrestrial communications systems as analogous to foreign technology.

In other words light is utilized by the attenuation of luminosity in a range beyond that of the craft itself, to be a sub-carrier for the language of sound images. The three dimensional images that this sound propagation may be communicating, in theory, could be transcribed and our own cetacean species may provide the basis for "decoding" them. Again, instead of gun cameras, if a chase scenario developed with our own craft, the telemetry through the use of sophisticated receivers may be a more fruitful avenue to gain information, rather than simply capturing the image of the craft itself. Our own development of quantum encryption systems may be a clue as to the nature of a foreign communications signaling system. Consider that while you read this, our Navy utilizes an encyclopedia of computer models that contain the sound signature of every ship to ply the oceans. While this consideration and what it infers perhaps goes round in your mind, think of this as a potential means to detect UFOs by way of a unique combinatorial wavelengths. If we cannot see them, can we detect an energetic signature?

The Cartography of Sound Mapping
The transcription of topography to sound images would require a thorough surveillance of the same to a arrangement of perhaps a digital recording that contains images in the reverse order of our own technology by way of light wave imagery transcribed to "soundings" as images. One of the areas of my investigations is the low altitude skimming over the landscape that without this theoretical "key" makes no sense whatsoever, or does it in the organized transcription of these two means of "reading" data linked to physiology? In other words if we use our capacity to imagine what this would look like, then a holographic sound map of the planet's features that could be read by a direct interface of sound would create a visual map without having to navigate through a visual medium. An advanced technology that we unfortunately by way of biology could not be applicable to us as land based, light wave sensing creatures.

The Frequencies of A Crop Circle In Formation
One of the interesting aspects of actual and rare crop circles is the generation of anomalous background radiation that also has the capability of making digital equipment fail. What might prove interesting is the utilization of VLF and\or UHF receivers as monitoring equipment, again, in the place of "light" images, to record through shielded cabling, what, if any discernible patterns or specific frequencies are utilized.

Intentional Noise
Another inverse methodology is to utilize crop circles as a means to interfere with their formation, which, if successful, could bear some repeatable experiments in regard to the type of technology used, and it's methodology. Inserting background radiation in the form of propagating sound waves in the field while a circle is formed, would be an interesting experiment. Of course, you would have to catch them in the act. Preventing them entirely would be a moot point in terms of evidence. Considering this possibility means that a transmission is extremely unlikely to interfere with radar surveillance by their detection, and so, the lack of radar evidence that concurs with their formation is not surprising, if any of this is true.

The same could be said of interference with coherent laser light as a carrier of sound waves intentionally attenuated over time to link with their on board systems, which would be a long term goal. I am not suggesting that these avenues be utilized against craft in flight as that would be irresponsible, but the inadvertent effect that has been demonstrated on our own military aircraft in close proximity to these vehicles provides an adequate warning against doing harm. It's a tricky balancing act, not to be undertaken with harm in mind. Of course all of this is theoretical speculation meant to provoke thinking outside of the box.

There are other avenues but I sense that the use of dolphins themselves as potential examples of interspecies communications is far off in the distance although research continues in the path of Dr John Lilly's work and much further progress has been made.
Provocations
I was blithely scanning for odd accounts, weird rumors, and the usual assortment of random puzzle pieces as my curiosity dictated when I came across this..much to my own consternation..although we have deep sea vessels continually scanning the depths of the oceans twenty four hours a day, seven days a week with advanced technology held from our prying eyes by issues of national security, VLF radio receivers outlawed..the persistent indications that our Navy may be the puppet masters of a secret that everyone knows but nobody tells..
I read this;
"The documents have existed since the time of the Soviet Union, and the former navy official responsible for researching UFOs, Vladimir Azhazha, said for Svobodnaya Press that the materials they found are of great value."Fifty percent of UFO encounters are connected with oceans. Fifteen more – with lakes. So UFOs tend to stick to the water," said Vladimir Azhazha for RT.The group which was led by the commander of the Russian navy, Nikolay Smirnov, gathered lots of evidence about unidentified flying objects, which they encountered numerous times. On one occasion a Russian nuclear submarine, which was on a mission in the Pacific, ran into six unknown objects. After some time, the objects simply took off and disappeared into the air.The retired Russian submarine commander Admiral Yury Beketov said that he had many encounters with UFOs in the Bermuda Triangle. UFOs most often seen in Caribbean and Bermuda Triangle.Beketov says that they noticed objects travelling at an incredible 426km/h on radar. This speed is even too fast for travelling on land, and when we take into account the pressure of the water, it seems these objects defy all the laws of physics."There is one explanation: the beings that made them have certainly surpassed us," he says. The former Russian intelligence official Igor Barklay says that UFOs were often seen in the Caribbean, in the deepest parts of the ocean. http://parabook.wordpress.com/2009/08/04/russian-naval-official-reports-humanoids-50-meters-underwater/

I heard an old song echoing in my head as a soundtrack for this odd account as I perused the above illustration. Is this a Naval cat and mouse game played out below the surface literally? Is something thumbing it's nose of the submersible fleet with apparent impunity?

The Arch Preposterous

Could a creature of divergence fled beneath the surface of this terrestrial realm into the safety of an oceanic equivalence due to a detection in advance of a cataclysmic event? Could the ensuing millions of years be concealing an advanced cousin, far advanced in evolutionary terms? Is there some obscured parallel history of a amphibious relation who was advanced when we were simply a mote upon the globe?
Here only the mad go where the angels of self comfort dare to tread...and so foolishly,we take our submersible speculations and swim into the oceanic realm...

The Puzzle Box
In previous posts I explored the alternate definition in regard to the creation of mythology when the spoken word, memory and the transmission of concepts pre-dated the written word. To put it simply, sound and images were the medium of transmission.
I also used this opportunity to explore an an alternate view of the source and purpose of the UFO phenomenon. It should come as no great surprise that I dissent from the view that mythological archetypes such as Oannes, Nommo and the like were, in fact, extraterrestrials, or for that matter, actual living organisms. As I opined in that post and perhaps this one as well, nuance and the subtle have been sledge hammered out of our range of cognition.
However, it is not counter intuitive, at least to me, to consider that a form of speculative form of Cryptozoology might be an interesting subject for us to consider when meditating on the possible source of our USO phenomenon. One of the most entangling and confusing forms of reductionism is to look for a silver bullet, or unified field theory that fits all phenomenon. More often than not, while it is personally interesting to explore these theories, I certainly acknowledge by the necessity of self skepticism, they are speculative. I could fill an entire post with just a recounting of all the occasions I have used the words, 'possible", "may" or "could." I believe, if my memory serves me well, it was Greg Bishop who observed there are so many facets to the subject, the journey might be far more interesting than the final destination of proof..
As some already know, I personally consider this to be a very strong candidate for the aim or intent of this phenomenon. I have included a brief overview of the USO phenomenon simply because it has been so thoroughly covered elsewhere. At least, as to it's history and so forth. Also, I have been rightfully critiqued for making the critical assumption that everyone knows the background of the topic at hand, especially younger readers who have said as much.

An Unidentified Submerged Object, or USO, is defined as any object or optical or mechanical detection phenomenon of unknown origin observed within water that remains unidentified even after thorough investigation. The maritime analog to a UFO, or unidentified flying object, unidentified submerged objects are often seen by those who study unidentified flying objects as a phenomenon the same as or similar, but encountered in water instead of atmosphere.

An Unexplored Territory
More than 70 percent of the Earth's surface is covered by ocean, but to date, we've explored less than 5 percent of it.Geophysicist Walter Smith, with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Laboratory for Satellite Altimetry clarified the situation that 90% of the ocean floor is unmapped; "If you make an estimate using all the historical data in a place like South Pacific, and compare it to the United States at the same scale, it looks a bit like the interstate highway system," he explained. "It's like sending surveyors out and saying that every few miles they can measure the height of the ground, but [they can] never leave the interstate highway system—then asking them to come back and make a map showing all the geographic features of the United States."
The USS San Fransisco came upon this fact when it collided with an uncharted sea mount, at least that was the conclusion offered in the official investigation.
"The findings of fact show that San Francisco, while transiting at flank (maximum) speed and submerged to 525 feet, hit a seamount that did not appear on the chart being used for navigation," the 124-page report said of the incident in the vicinity of the Caroline Islands.

The Unknown Sounds of NOAA

Unidentified sounds stream through the darkness of the ocean depths. According to NOAA, one sound was heard only once, never to be captured again. The University of Washington used to post the Mystery Sonogram of the Month The anomalous sounds recorded by NOAA are nicknamed Bloop, Slow Down, Julia, Train, Whistle and Upsweep. You can sample these using the NOAA link below:http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/vents/acoustics/sounds_mystery.html

The Unknown Undersea Lights of Physics
Many UFO investigators are unaware that material physicists have come up with no less than than the sum total of these theories, which have explained to no one's satisfaction as to what causes this phenomenon.

This observation, which was prepared by the witnesses took place on 5 November 1978 at 00:05 hours, local time on board (4 November 1978, 21:35 GMT)on board the MS Dione. The phenomenon took place in about 15 minutes, after which the wheels and spokes disappeared slowly. Note the scale of the hull outline to the diameter of the light observed. What is interesting in these reports brings to mind use of a sonic detection with may cause such an pattern effect on the bio-illuminating lifeforms present in the sea. According to published reports, these were not seen until the passing of wood vessels and the introduction of metal hulls. Were the wooden hulls a factor as they were not detected?

Chasing Unknown Sonar Targets

A certain Naval officer apparently grew tired of the endless reports of unsucessful and prolonged chases of unidentified targets off the U.S coast.

``Whereas, the presence of unidentified submarines in the approaches to the United States has been frequently reported, and
``Whereas, the submarines have been uncooperative in declaring either their identity or their intent as is required by the customs and usages of honorable seamen, and
``Whereas, tangible evidence that these surreptitious operations are being conducted would result in appropriate embarrassment to those involved
``Therefore, I do hereby pledge to donate one case of Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Brand of Quality Tennessee Sour Mash Corn Whiskey, made as our fathers made it for seven generations at the oldest registered whiskey distillery in the United States, established 1866, to the first Scene of Action Commander in the Atlantic who produces evidence that a non U.S. or known friendly submarine has been worn out.''

"A Longtime friend and coworker of mine at Boston's Museum of Science is Valerie Wilcox of Aubarndale, Massachusetts. During a telephone conversation with me on July 27, 1984, Val commented that an English acquaintance recently mentioned a UFO experience that he had while he was in the Royal Navy. He told her he was present when an unidentified target was picked up on his ship's radar and then tracked by sonar after it entered the water! Part of the log referring to this event was alleged to have been confiscated. Val offered to have us both come to dinner some evening in late August or early September so that I could question the individual about his experience..."

Acoustic Visualisation In Intraspecies Communication

Within the relationships between the possibility of extraterrestrial sentient species, ourselves, and ufology in general is the presumption of communication being possible as well as potentially being a challenge. many have discussed the phenomenon which may occur or perhaps is occurring now, in a situation wherein we are talking past one another. Or, one is speaking and the other has an organic inability to comprehend, let alone recognize that this communication is being presented either directly or indirectly to them. My own experiences with another may claim to an abduction, for me has been one of a dialog that I cannot make fit into a linear statement whether it arises from my inner pictorial metaphors animated by neurons or a superimposed transmission. All I can say is that these infrequent journeys into Oz are more provocative than definitive.

One of the biggest hurdles in acknowledging this potential pitfall is the close minded methodology of traditional science which, for the most part has tied its hands behind its back while putting the cart of proof before the horse.

"Nature became identified with matter and its movement, whereas mind, believing, suffering, perceiving, but not interfering, was conceived as existing apart from the external nature that it observed, described, and measured. Yet to the extent that mind is in nature, it is a product of nature. Mind is a quality proceeding from living organisms, and organisms are regarded by mechanist science as arising from the blind interactions of undirected matter; both life and mind become in this view simply the outcome of the random interactions of matter over a vast scale of time. Any apparent meaning to this process, any type of evolutionary advancement or value or purpose, is simply a projection of the observer; in itself, nature is intrinsically blind, without purpose, meaning, or value. This was the philosophical paradox that modern science, based on inductive abstraction, led itself into: confronted with a universe both lifeless and devoid of mind, how to explain the apparent intelligibility of nature and the fact of living organisms."

-Terrence McKenna The Invisible Landscape

For your consideration, there is also in this, a darkness in the pride that often lies side by side with ignorance. What if the intelligent species we came upon had no natural defense against our own animal instincts of exploitation, harvesting, and extermination?
What makes the consideration of this possibility a judgment we make upon ourselves, is that unlike other species less so empowered; there we have a choice in this.
Is what we fear in alien contact, a form of perverse recognition of what we are?
Are the chilling experiences of abductions a mirror of our own controlling and exploitative behavior? Do as I say. As I have said before, it was if a unrecognized force of nature was taking possession of our free will and then stepping back and saying..well...how do you like it when the shoe is on the other foot? The clinical clean room setting..the blind drones...the sociopathic assurances...the physical and psychic violation of others..then to be discarded like a piece of senseless meat alongside of the road.We would prefer all of this to go away so we can pretend this is not so. You think what you want, as for me.....Message received, loud and clear. Perhaps God is listening to the silent prayers of many...please, don't let them capture our mysterious ape fellow, who avoids us like the plague. Gosh, Why do the aliens not land? If given a choice, would you?

"These experiences illustrate the thesis that one can protect one's self by maintaining one's ignorance by belittling disturbing experiences? Or one can newly recapture sensitivity and be open minded (even painfully so) and discover new facts. Discovery, in my experience, requires disillusionment first, as well as later. One must be shaken in one's basic beliefs before the discovery can penetrate one's mind sufficiently above threshold to be detected A certain willingness to face censure, to be a maverick? To question one's beliefs, to revise them, is obviously necessary. But what is not obvious is how to prepare one's own mind to receive the transmissions from the far side of the protective transparent wall separating each of us from the dark gulf of the unknown Maybe we must realize that we are still babies in the universe taking steps never before taken. Sometimes we reach out from our aloneness for someone else who may or may not exist. But at least we reach out, and it is gratifying to see our dolphins reach also, however primitively. They reach toward those of us who are willing to reach toward them."
-John Lilly

There are rare exceptions to this reign of "mental illness" wherein 'nature is intrinsically blind, without purpose, meaning, or value', in fact, there have been several scientists, which to my despair, have passed away leaving us stranded, feeling, as the also departed Loren Eisley observed; "Every time we walk along a beach some ancient urge disturbs us so that we find ourselves shedding shoes and garments or scavenging among seaweed and whitened timbers like the homesick refugees of a long war."
One who comes to mind is Gerald Hawkins, who, after studying crop circles as a mathematical model of communication, observed, "Natural science processes, left to their own devices, like whirlwinds, rutting hedgehogs, and bacteria have no relationship to the diatonic ratios. They (the diatonic ratios) are human-invented. They are the human response to sound. The only place I can find diatonic ratios in nature are bird calls and the song of the whale. I don’t think the birds made the circles, nor did the whales."
John Lilly took the challenge of interspecies communication seriously. Should there be sentient life other than ourselves either in the dust of stars or deep within the oceanic world, his work, regardless of whether this be true or not, has value. To those of us who look to the vast and seemingly improbable distances between ourselves and some faint glimmer of hope we may learn form a more intelligent species, Dr Lilly observed; "They (cetaceans) have been on the planet now with brains our size or larger for 25 million years. We've only been here with our present brain size about two-tenths of a million years. So they've been here something on the order of 25 to 50 to 100 times the length of time we have. I'd just like to talk to such ancient beings..."
Typically, when we hear of evidential episodes wherein dolphins among themselves are able to communicate information we naturally make the hasty assumption based on our own biology is that the modality of language is verbal rather than imagery as we are biased toward the familiar.
"With proper techniques (hypnosis, drugs, etc.) we can program or compute an "acoustic space" into the "visual space."-JL
Think of two channels akin to stereophonic sound. One is speak-see image and the other is speak-transmit image. "The dolphin receives almost as much information through his ear as we do from our eye. ... The two phonation apparatuses can be linked one to the other to give "stereo phonation." ...We have found that the dolphin has a third emitter, especially constructed for the production of his ultrasonic beam." -JL
Interestingly, it has been discovered recently that one of our own sensory organs evolved from an earlier, but as yet unclear divergence of a common mechanism of sensory sound which are still present in the structure evidenced in the gills of fish.
http://www.livescience.com/animals/060119_breathing_ears.html

"Now in this book there are a lot of stories about talking animals: talking snakes, and birds, and fish; and about people who try to communicate with them.
John Lilly, the guy who says he can talk to dolphins, said he was in an aquarium and he was talking to a big whale who was swimming around and around in his tank. And the whale kept asking him questions telepathically. And one of the questions the whale kept asking was: do all oceans have walls?

You know, I've always thought that one of the most serious defects of the human body was that you couldn't close your ears. You can't point them anywhere or close them, they just sort of hang there on the sides of your head. But an acupuncturist explained to me that the pressure points in the ears are very important because the whole body is represented right there in the ear. The ears, he said, are vestigial fetuses, little versions of yourself, one male and one female, and he showed me here's the lobe, that's the miniature upside down head, and this curve here is the spine, and right here are the little genitals, and that was when I went back to wearing hats.'

-Laurie Anderson 'John Lilly' from 'The Ugly One With The Jewels'

Unfortunately, I underestimated the amount of exposition this topic requires. It is always a challenge to condense and edit the material in this blog so it does not become a veritable encyclopedia on the subject and, on the other hand, to provide enough information as to make the topic faintly comprehensible. And so, there must be three parts to this series. Having admitted my own ongoing fallibility, in the previous post, I began to convey the work of Dr Lilly in the context of alternate modes of communication as they may apply both to interspecies communication as well as our respective difficulties of translation.
Perhaps, under our noses, this is occurring in some manner, while we are far from developing a dialog. In the Newtonian sense, for the purpose of illustrating this situation, communication is like a ping pong game, back and forth, the ball of sound shuttles cojoined between the players.

Recently I returned to reflect on the passive "listening" concept behind SETI.
I thought to myself, if I want to play ping pong, how successful will I be in achieving my goal of having a game if I wait for the statistical probabilities resulting in these random factors; A. some person to come by B. A person who intuitively knows I want to play without my announcing this by making it known C. Knows ping pong. Then consider I want to find a player on Alpha Centuri as I sit on my lawn chair. What if they don't like and\or are not cognizant of the rules of ping pong? Hmmm...maybe I should begin actively pursuing making this known first locally....if I am in a alien country like France, Do I go out onto the roadway waving a ping pong mallet shouting ping pong! ping pong!If I chose to pursue this, perhaps it would work better once I am released from the psychiatric facility. I might have saved myself a great deal of tragicomedy if I held up a picture of two people playing ping pong and pointed to myself.
Is there a common, universal language shared throughout our universe as well as in the ocean depths?

The reciprocal exchange of energy within our own solar system and beyond could be viewed from several perspectives.
One of which is that each planet orbiting around our sun as well as the aggregate system could be likened to that of a living creature of nature with a unique subset of ecology's and yet perhaps all share a common language much like that of the aforementioned dolphin, in that while it can be heard, it would be quite a challenge to transliterate.
Each planet one might say, represents a unique evolutionary stage of development. These lifeforms we call the planets have a harmonic relationship in this exchange of energy.
In their orbital paths in relation both to one another and all in relation to the sun, reflected energy in the form of light creates a dynamic symphony within a spectrum of living musical harmonics in this reciprocal dialog between them. Take a moment and let's overhear what they are conveying to one another courtesy of the NASA Inspire VLF receiver at Spaceweather.com before moving further and closer to the surface of our own planetary sphere.

http://www.spaceweather.com/glossary/inspire.html

Then we have the dual sonic waveforms propagated as a visualization in the language of the dolphins. Let's listen to this dialog as well and compare it to our earlier example in the interstellar VLF band.

http://www.dosits.org/gallery/marinemm/10.htm

One of the advantages of ultra-sonic sound, as opposed to the sound that we can hear - is that the tiny wavelengths of these high frequencies can penetrate into and reflect off of the smallest crevice and contour, echoing a sound profile of minute detail. These sounds can even be used to probe soft tissues, reflecting the differences between bone, flesh and blood. Our physicians use this feature to gently explore the contents of a mother's womb to determine the health and identity of her child.
Dr John Lilly studied dolphins to determine how they communicated the structure of their complex community to each other -how they were able to coordinate advanced hunting and play strategies, often a high speeds He spent 18 years performing repetitive routines with them; recording all of their sounds in an attempt to learn their vocabulary. Not once in that time did they repeat a sound phrase at least a phrase they were not asked to repeat. In other words, if you are transmitting images in real time they would not be repeated as there is no requirement to "spell out,"as in this side scan sonar image.

We know now that not all communication requires a symbolic vocabulary - that many deeper messages are embedded in the tone of a voice or the turn of a phrase. But the degree of accuracy conveyed in dolphin communication indicates the possibility of an astounding form of communication - communication through sonic holograms. Another advantage is the astonishing speed this modality demonstrates when we compare it to the written or spoken word. Consider the range that they are capable of communicating these images within and it makes remote viewing look like a near sighted gypsy reading tea leaves. Now we have to take into account memory, in other words, if you know the sound signature of an stereotyped image and transmit this image, you may find what Ms.Hawkins has discovered.

"Liz Hawkins, of the Whale Research Centre in Australia, spent three years listening to bottlenose dolphins living off the west coast of the country and recorded a total of 1,647 whistles from 51 different pods of dolphins. From the starting frequency of the sound, its duration and its end frequency, she identified 186 different whistle types, of which 20 were particularly common. She told New Scientist: "This communication is highly complex, and it is contextual, so in a sense it could be termed a language."
-London Daily Telegraph "Scientists Identify The Language of Dolphins"

We also know through the study of cymatics, the energy we cannot hear from a sensate platform can be translated into visual images as Galileo discovered; "As I was scraping a brass plate with a sharp iron chisel in order to remove some spots from it and was running the chisel rather rapidly over it, I once or twice, during many strokes, heard the plate emit a rather strong and clear whistling sound: on looking at the plate more carefully, I noticed a long row of fine streaks parallel and equidistant from one another. Scraping with the chisel over and over again, I noticed that it was only when the plate emitted this hissing noise that any marks were left upon it; when the scraping was not accompanied by this sibilant note there was not the least trace of such marks."
Here is a cymatic "alphabet" that can be arranged using letters that are in essence, energy.

We return once more to the images in the report of the good ship MS Dione and consider them perhaps in a different light.

If we look at a cymatic effect, the results are striking, even in a coffee cup.

Then again, when we look at the transliteration of energy=sound=image as in the aforementioned example of dolphin language, we seem to have the possibility of a commonality lurking in the background of a potential for interspecies communication, which the late Dr Gerald Hawkins made the focus of his studies using the mathematics of the Diatonic Scale of sound. In simpler terms we are in another related modality, sound as music as a visual image.

Diatonic Scale-In music theory, a diatonic scale (from the Greek διατονικος, meaning "[progressing] through tones", also known as the heptatonia prima and set form 7-35) is a seven-note musical scale comprising five whole-tone and two half-tone steps, in which the half-steps are maximally separated. Thus between each of the two half-steps lie either two or three whole-steps, with the pattern repeating at the octave. The term diatonic originally referred to the diatonic genus, one of the three genera of the ancient Greeks.
-Wikipedia

And pray tell, what on earth is the three genera? It is a spectrum of energy.
Those various divisions are what determine the different genera (plural of genus - the actual Greek word is genos, but commentators writing in English generally use the Latin form). There were 3 basic genera: Diatonic (= 'thru tones'), Chromatic (= 'colored' or 'thru the shades'), and Enharmonic (= 'properly attuned').

So if energy translated in the language of sound create a three dimensional images in this phenomenon occurring in dolphins, as theorized by Dr Lilly, can we see it demonstrated to us directly rather than through the conceptual language of the written word? Whether we communicate through atmosphere or water, there is one universal tongue....the image.

What is also interesting to turn over in our minds, is the relationship between biological evolution and the parallel path of evolving technology as an extension of the senses by which each species communicate to one another either in close range or at a distance. More specifically,in relation to this concept, are the interesting long human pathways of translation as compared to the dolphin, some of which are extremely subtle.

Human Path:
1 and 2. You want to communicate. Now before you even derive words to arrange your composition internally, Kirshnamurti made some compelling arguments that awareness or more accurately consciousness precedes the translation to thought so there may be two steps prior to the initiation of communication.
3. You convert thought to the movement of atmosphere through your lungs and tongue.
4. Intonation that we could consider as a carrier wave. It isnt what you say its how you say it. This in of itself is music. I don't suggest this experiment with your significant other. Try listening to a conversation in musical terms. Don't listen to words alone. After awhile you will pick up on unintended communication as to a state, IE: Low modulation=low energy, etc.
5. Our vibratory pitches and modulation is converted to an electrical matrix as in a cell phone.
6. This is then transmitted by microwave.
7. The microwave transmission is received and relayed and then returned to electrical impulses.
8. The electrical impulse is converted to the appropriate range to move an atmosphere.
9. This sensory input is received by the ear and from the ear to the brain.
10. The mind translates the sounds into a common language as well as notes the modality.

We have not yet even begun to explore the differences in communication that are divided between knowledge and a state of being. Ideally these should match but in reality, it largely does not. I cannot not provide you with my experience, or a state of being, which places value and effective behavior into interpretation of this mix. Neither can you for me directly, in terms of constructing an effective and immediate efficiency of terms. To put it simply, knowledge is knowledge. If there is no match between players, then this also has to be translated.
Now consider that there are 6,700 differing spoken languages that are utilized on our planet.
The old "Take me to your leader" routine is reductionism at it's finest
form...surrealism.

What if we "spoke" in images? When one considers the long evolutionary path of the dolphin to our own comparatively brief term, perhaps we should now consider telepathy in a new light, let alone the anecdotal accounts of extraterrestrial creatures using this process exclusively. It is difficult to discern the difference between our stereotyped anticipation foisted as a projection upon experience and what actually occurs.

In the last of this series, we explore a evolutionary tale of the moon as it relates to our own, as well as what may lie below the ocean depths and how circumstances on the surface relate to one another in the use of sound as energy from bats to whales to human beings as some mammalian vertebrates go off into the sea by way of metamorphosis and some come out of it the same way. What if one went into the depths of the sea from long ago in an adaptation to a gravitational environment that was not conducive to their habitation? More fascinating impossibilities to consider..
For your consideration, I ask, is it possible that an immigration occurred in the past of a species which communicates much like the dolphin and yet has limbs? Perhaps. What sort of a planet would this sentient creature originate from in terms of it's environmental match to our oceans?

Is this image that of a extraterrestrial cetacean humanoid or a phantasm or a projection of ourselves or a sentient extraterrestrial?

Which is more likely, traversing the vast stellar distances between stars hoping for a 'hit" or, navigating the ocean floor?

The classic alleged phantasm or sentient humanoid irritatingly nicknamed The Grey, has always fascinated me as an object of speculation in terms of sensate anatomy inasmuch as hearing or receiving sound in an atmosphere would require some sort of ear, however they appear, on the surface, to be absent, which is rather odd regardless as whatever gaseous atmosphere they require would carry sensate sound to be received by an appropriate organ akin to our own. Yet, they are absent, or are they?
If their natural environmental medium is a liquid, perhaps this accounts for their apparent absence. Then again, perhaps not. However, it is provocative as one portion of constructing a speculative possibility as a medium to explore possibilities. Is this Grey a branch of an evolutionary tree that has vanished beneath depths of the ocean, only to resurface when threatened by extinction? When I first viewed this photograph of a dolphin ear, I was struck by the visual kinship of similarity to a "Grey."

One asks; Are Dolphins and Humans descendants of a common ancestor, rather than the theory that makes the critical assumption of the "ape" as a sole actor within the dynamic of evolution? This, while admittedly seeming far fetched was one of the theories put forth by others including B.Fuller of geodesic dome fame.
Recent research seems to indicate the connection between humanoids and cetaceans will eventually replace or at minimum, significantly revise the "ape" theory.
If so, perhaps to speculate upon another variant of nature which may be genetically linked to our own aquatic phase, which is said to have occurred possibly between 3 and 7 million years ago is an interesting scenario.
A potential linkage between the sonics of aquatic images as a form of communication and the terrestrial cymatics in the form of the symbolics within the pictographs of formulations known as "crop circles" may exist.
When taken in the light of the USO phenomenon, this creates a theoretical basis for speculation upon a sentient creature that spans cryptozoology and ufology in the sense that it uses a technological extension of it's organic senses in the same sense that I use a laptop to produce these images that are transmitted to and received by you. A Cetacean humanoid may use others.
In this case the images transposed in a terrestrial form to communicate with us, their atmospheric cousins with sound as a predominate feature or perhaps more accurately, a source of energy capable of manipulating imaging materials with ultrasonic waveforms as in the pictograms in crop circles. Or, is there some other means to produce them to the degree of precision that some examples manifest, given a unreasonably finite amount of time to produce them?>

What is interesting is that the human brain operates at a range well below that of hypersonic sound waves, and the effects of exposure to inaudible high frequencies was previously thought or shall we say assumed to be non-existant.
Our cousins, the dolphins are capable of a 8 - 200 kHz range. The human mind operates between 3-13hz. The previous assumption that these hypersonic waves have no effect has recently been revised by new research that does indicate significant effects as covered in detail in The Journal of Neurophysiology in a study entitled "Inaudible High-Frequency Sounds Affect Brain Activity: Hypersonic Effect"
Results in other newly published studies suggest that the intensity of inaudible HFC modulates human sound perception as well as effects that "inhibit the para-sympathetic nervous system." which is responsible for the lowering of our heart rates and "when sufficiently intense, appears to result in a syndrome involving manifestations of nausea, headache, tinnitus, pain, dizziness, and fatigue." which is a uncanny close match to the after effects of an abduction event. We can only wonder what other results further research will bring to light.

Another striking set of speculative connections between ourselves and dolphins are the dolphin's organic capabilities to transmit images in real time as their "language" and the internal manifestation of images in remote viewing within ourselves. This capability we already have as a process we experience nightly in "dreams". Perhaps dreaming is a intermediate evolutionary capability that manifests images as self referential representations which lack the input of further organic receptivity.
Considering that we have a much shorter evolutionary history, the rare ability of remote viewing may be an advanced example at the cutting edge of evolutionary human potential, while a dolphin may consider this experience as mundane.
By extension we look in our mirror to The Grey and consider their capability to walk through walls as well as alleged telepathic capability as their sole means of communication. This brings to mind the possibility that they are present only in our cognition as a received projection that has been presented within us as a receiver by their organic capability to induce holographic experiences. Or, they actually walk through walls. Your choice. Abductions as I have covered in other posts are similar to an induction of state and interestingly, that modality of communicating conceptually in images is what the cetaceans use among themselves.

All of this considers the possibility that what comes out of the oceanic waters as a UFO is in fact, the product of a highly evolved mammal akin to that of a dolphin with humanoid characteristics.

In the arcane science of Legominisms, the conceptual encapsulation in the creation of the Tritons, the Merrow, Selkies and the Sirens all have, as their nexus, an amphibious creature much like the one observed for two hours by the Naturalist George Stellar in 1741, who, for lack of any comparative accuracy coined the pseudo referential name,"Sea Ape.", which one imagines to be a sentient humanoid adapted to an aquatic enviroment.

Our Naturalist having encountered one in the Northern Pacific, south of the Aleutian Islands, noted it had a asymmetric tail like that of a shark incorporated into a formulation of a aquatic humanoid. This observation was theorised as having been mistaken for a Sirenia, one of many such herbivorous mammal whose natural environment encompasses rivers, estuaries, coastal marine waters, swamps, and marine wetlands. However, there are no such creatures known to inhabit those waters.

Of the 70 known sightings of these elusive creatures, 52 have been sighted in environments where there are no candidates for factoring in the probability of mistaken identity. In addition, this attempt to overlay the classification of pinnipeds upon our mystery humanoid has one glaring error, they lack arms. However it is interesting to note that like our aforementioned dolphin, the "sea cow" is also a mammal. This in of itself launches us into the conceptual hyperspace of psychological associations and identifications that trigger us like fish caught in a net by language.

As in Ufology, within cryptozoology, ad hoc proper nouns and terms take on a life of their own, often creating barriers or the projection of archetypes which then evolve into a bizarre defacto and self referential reality. Greys, Skunk Apes, Drones, Mothman are a plague upon us. I really struggled with how to term a speculation, which in of itself, is counterintuitive.

"Our words have not and cannot have any constant meaning, and to indicate at every word the meaning and the particular shade which we attach to this word, that is, the relations in which it is taken by us, we have in the first place no means; and secondly we do not aim at this; on the contrary, we invariably wish to establish our constant meaning for a word and to take it always in that sense, which is obviously impossible, as one and the same word used at different times and in various relations has different meanings." -GI Gurdjieff

Of course, then we ask ourselves, where in all of lies the root of origin that predated this enigmatic creature? In the case of the Nummo, one author felt that these creatures are, in effect explorers who exploit the lessened gravitational forces that water provides, inasmuch as they are a aquatic species who have migrated
here from the stellar region of Sirius, as outlined in the remarkable and provocative Dogon mythology which had somehow gained in it's corpus, astronomical data that we only recently have discovered.

Theories abound in the realm where the truth is hidden in plain sight, or at least is considered a possibility.

"Anthropologists are not certain when hominids quit growing thick fur, or why they developed an opposable thumb and the "S-curve" of the spine for upright bipedality. I have a novel concept, an hypothesis, that may account for the upright bipedality and the bare skin of Homo sapiens. Of course, the reasons of their development is meaningless concerning the cause and course of latter developments. There is a group of monkeys that is currently undergoing the change to bipedality; an occurrence that I have noticed but many others have not. They live near a permanent water hole, calm river, or estuary. The trees that grow near the pond drop fruit into the water, especially when the monkeys are shaking the limbs of the tree as they climb for the fruit. Once the monkeys have cleaned the tree of fruit, the ones that can wade farthest into the water and retrieve fruit will eat more and have a better chance of survival. Wading is a bipedal activity. The farther one of the monkeys can wade, the more protection they gain from predators that will not swim for game. When accidentally falling into the water from the fruit tree, upright bipedality increases the monkey's ability to get out of the water. I wonder if baby chimpanzees can swim in the manner that infant Humans do? The ability to walk upright and greater manual dexterity allows them to gather more food, avoid predators, and survive drowning. Considering hippos, elephants, and other amphibious mammals, I imagine that fur would be a hindrance for life in and out of the water, and it was eventually lost by the small pongid as it evolved upright bipedality in its aquatic environment."

Maybe we should reverse course entirely based on the evidence as well as a series of assumptions of equal value that we stood on the shore of the sea, while others, sought their fortunes in the ocean.. Mounting evidence suggests that human's are more closely related to dolphins, far more than they are related to apes, if you've studied the latest scientific research, you would be impressed. Genetic research into the genetics of dolphins have just begun. Monkeys wading into the water? Perhaps.

There is an influx of research that indicates humans, dolphins, and apes evolved from a common ancestor. There are studies comparing humans and cetaceans (dolphins and whales). These studies focus on the similarities of the brain, especially the neocortex. In this regard the cetacean brain is nearly identical, and superior to the human brain according to the latest research. It is now common knowledge that research into the skeletal structure of Cetaceans shows vestiges of toes (fingers?) and dewclaws . These evolved into powerful flippers and tails, indicating that dolphins and whales once lived on the land.

In the studies of Dr. Michel Odent - world famous surgeon and pioneer into human water births - dolphins, humans and apes are likely to have evolved from a common ancestor millions of years ago.One of the most noticeable differences between human and ape is the lack of hair. However, consider the gray, hairless skin of the dolphin. Did I say grey?

One wonders if this theory is a shadow image of some path we cannot traverse as perhaps something similar but more fully fleshed toward George Stellars sighting of a "sea ape" may have happened in the dim light of the past. Another factor in all this, which is all the rage, in the babble between Creationists and Evolutionists which presents the issue of vestigial mammalian gills and tails found in the early developmental stages of a human foetus, albeit in a silly escapade akin to a twice told tale.

Another factor that swirls in this whirlpool of artifacts, observations, theories which includes our disjointed and incomplete evolutionary matrix, is the provocative enigma that ufology and cryptozoology commonly faces is the resolute determination of their target to remain at arms length. However, perhaps if we are sharing this planetary sphere with another species, the content of such alleged contacts may have a more practical and less altuistic perspective.

"Mr. Mutwa and the children were both distressed by their experiences. But they also spoke spontaneously of receiving powerful communications from the alien beings, especially through their huge black eyes, about the failure of our species to take proper care of the earth. This unsolicited information is quite consistent with what I have been learning from American experiencers. A recently interviewed geologist and abduction experiencer wrote me that his experiences have taught him that "We are a run-away species bent on self-destruction, because we (collectively) are unwilling to impose self controls to stop our growth and to plan for our future with forethought and higher purpose" (Bruce Cornet, letter to the author, December 1994)."

First human-caused dolphin extinction reported
Aug. 11, 2007

Scientists this week reported the first human-caused extinction of a dolphin.
The freshwater Yangtze River dolphin, also known as baiji, seems to be no more, researchers said. The animal inhabited the middle and lower Yangtze River and neighbouring Qiantang River in eastern China. It “has long been recognized as one of the world’s rarest and most threatened mammal species,” wrote Samuel T. Turvey of the Zoological Society of London and colleagues in the Aug. 7 online issue of the research journal Biology Letters.

When I read this, and as I type this, I am disgusted, frustrated and angry.

Each year as many as 50,000 species disappear and this rate is rapidly increasing. I think it reasonable to consider that any unknown species worth it's salt has every reason to avoid us.
Others sense that this tact of avoidance by our prey, in of itself, "proves" that we are chasing a Chimera.
We may be chasing a projection that has been intentionally foisted into the range of our vision, in it's hydra headed manifestations as an emblematic lure of a transpersonal and transcendant nature. This object of fixation is intended for a target who is addicted to empirical and materialist physics, which, as we all know, is destroying the very organic nature it is composed of. What is more frightening, is that this chilling recognition has become just another obscure sidebar on page 15, lost in the media deluge of trivia.
I began all this as the kid in the theater rooting for Godzilla, thinking to myself,I hope he kicks their ass. And so it goes.
If USO is a vehicle, and the vehicle's occupants are members of a species who call the waters of the ocean home, then why do they not have fins? Perhaps at one point in time they did. We are all a work in process, a potentiality. The evolution of a oceanic society and the technological path of such a society must remain as we found it, out of reach as to produce more grist to mill.
We mine the facets of the unexplainable and the speculation upon the variations of shooting arrows into the sky, hoping against hope, we can hit the target. In a sense, perhaps this quest of holy fools reserves a portion of wonder for the future.

"The heavenly motions... are nothing but a continuous song for several voices, perceived not by the ear but by the intellect, a figured music which sets landmarks in the immeasurable flow of time."

As mentioned earlier, scattered throughout the world, in various locations, there are persistent and often continuous, audible background frequencies in the from of what is described as humming, which signifies perhaps a new manifestation of a larger portrait, in the manifestations of resonance, of sound as a newly anomalous medium. http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_18_4_deming.pdf In this paper we begin to find the beginning of a thread, regardless of it's slender nature, when the author mentions the symptoms involved with exposure;

These events have no apparent source, however as in all things paranormal, there appears to be what is a admittedly slender but fascinating thread attenuated to a specific frequency beyond the range of human hearing whose effects and source are equally little understood.

The Dream State And Synapses
Perhaps there is a form of "telepathy" utilizing ultrasound as a pathway of simulating a visualization of reality, which may be a means to transplant seemingly experiential data by means of this interface, in order to either enlighten, confound, or by happenstance, confuse the human recipient by simulating a direct experience, which could also be used to misdirect those who seek clues in the storage of memory. When I use the word telepathy, I am aware that this is not telepathy in the strictest sense, but rather as a superimposition using biology to interface with a visualization.

If this is so, the reactions of abductees would be as real as if they occurred, and elicit the the same physiological reactions as they are indeed memories but not the sort we simulate by our own volition. All of this is seemingly paradoxical and subject to ridicule, in terms of substitutions that ironically we utilize throughout our lives in the omniscient simulations of our senses. For example, the often reported experience of floating through walls seems patently ridiculous and subject to understandable skepticism, however, if the context of a dream has been superimposed within the frame work of a simulated experiential reality, this may be a clue that, yes, this occurs, but not in a strictly traditional, empirical context.

I would by no means call this a formal theory, but rather an intuitive speculation. Someone once gave me an enormous compliment in calling such strange concepts that emanate from my own ruminations, "respectable tin foil" which now seems fairly ironic, or perhaps accurate in light of this subject matter. I was so enamored by this moniker, I seriously considered changing the name of this blog by retitling it to reflect this description.

Regardless,it is beyond redundant to state that we all for a good portion of our lives are in a dream state, which is, for the most part a visual and auditory simulation based on on what are close to "real time" simulations that our sensory apparatus produces, as we experience nothing directly in any real sense, but rather what the mind has configured as a coherent representation of information transposed by biochemical processes.

One particular portion of this process are the brain's synapses which serve as gates in the flow of this data through what are called neurons. The function of a neuron is to receive input "information" from other neurons, to process that information, then to send "information" as output to other neurons. (Synapses are connections between neurons through which "information" flows from one neuron to another.) Hence, neurons process all of the "information" that flows within, to, or out of the central nervous system. Our dreams are no exception to this state of affairs. They are, if you will, a simulation of a simulation.

The 23.5 trillion synapses we possess, incorporate gaps between them which is why I referred to them as gates, within a neural net, in that this data jumps a gap. However in this complex system of processing signal data, there is a choice to be made by the synapses. What happens prior to that choice is what is of interest to us, keeping in mind we are focusing on dream states as a simulation process.

Those who have a background in quantum physics have noted that this presynaptic connection, to simplify this concept, can be in two states at once. In other words, it can be yes and no at the same time as a potential, rather than an immediate outcome. One could say that perhaps this gateway or synapse in this state which is a non state in a sense, provides an opening, a pause that may be considered in of itself an input if there were a technology to manipulate this state, in order to interface with this data stream. Lets leave this concept and move further on to return to it later.

Cetacean Pictographic Theory
In the last post, the role of cymatics in relation to decoding Cetacean sound imaging was briefly covered. The role of sound in creating images was covered as well.
Here is the representation of transposing sound to images, it is a very minute fragment of a John Stuart composition, a full series of which can be found here

If sound images are utilized by this species to produce internal images rather than being transposed through an intermediate medium such as an alphabet, a spoken language, or equally, the extra step we take in processing sound to words, words to thought, thought to semiotics, we have a very efficient system of communication between the members of this species, or more pointedly, one that resembles them, albeit with legs and arms, which also qualify them as non human. A similarity as apposed to a incomparable is a tricky balancing act when it comes to envisioning on typeface what my mind has scavenged.

If we use our imagination, one can envision that this corresponds to what are dreams are, visualizations of a simulation. It is very worthwhile, perhaps even necessary to follow this link to explore this facet of non human intelligence.

A key portion of this excellent essay is as follows;

"Dolphins perceive the world mainly through sound, just as humans are oriented to vision. Their vision is poorer than ours, but their hearing is much more acute. They need such a well-developed sense of hearing because they use a system of sonar navigation just as bats do. They emit clicks and whistles and the returning echoes form an image of their surroundings. This sonar has some interesting side benefits; for instance, it allows the dolphins to "see" within each other's bodies. They might even be able to send each other the equivalent of 3-dimensional images. Imagine speaking a language in which a short phrase could contain a photographic image of person's face! The dolphin's speech and hearing both cover a much wider range than a human's. Their communication seems to extend from about 500 to 80,000 cycles per second. By contrast, human speech covers only the range from 100 to 5000 cps. Dolphins can hear sounds as high as 200,000 cps. They have several means of producing sound and can independently emit at least three different sounds at once. What this all adds up to is an extremely efficient means of communication. Lilly estimates that dolphins can take in 20 times as much information through their ears as humans can. So they have the physical capability, at least, to use languages much more sophisticated than our own."

This infers that SETI may be seeking apples from oranges by anticipating a semi rigid set of linear descriptions, whereas if sound as a direct visual versus spoken language is the case, by using multi-syllabic tones superimposed on one another, as well as the fact that no two images may be alike as a probability, and so perhaps transcription by a anthropomorphic biology based on comparatively repetitious patterning may be better served by a visual transcription by cymatic analysis seeking parallel tones simultaneously.

In simpler terms, an alien data stream is more likely to sound like gibberish as it is not a language by our own definition, if we listen for exactitudes of patterns in semi-rigid repetitions, we need only look at what we visualize every day and how little is repeated in exactly the same way. Perhaps they need a musicologist for visual sound images.

An Interface Between Non Human Intelligence and The Brains Simulations Through The Synapses

Imagine a humanoid with cetacean sensory applications, evolving over a vast portion of time much like many of our own species have, perhaps this ability, it is perhaps reasonable to suggest would have developed further long as well in terms of creating visual simulations through the manipulation of complex patterns of ultrasound, through cavitation or resonance. Again, this infers a reversal of land to sea to from sea to land, in a variation provided by a non human evolution. Although we can imagine new concepts, it is difficult at times to avoid putting them in familiar contexts.

Here is where we return to the role of human synapses which also resonate. Could such a highly evolved non human creature interface with the synaptic gates and thus transpose images which already exist within their form of sentience into our own simulations which are already occurring within a dream state by using ultrasound that is present in their own biology? If you want to wade through some of the material on synaptic resonance, simply run a search on these two words.

Creatures dependent on sound versus creatures dependent upon light to visualize a common reality may also be capable of creating one within another as a simulation. In our own crude manner we already down a technological path to accomplish this. Imagine what a creature can do, using ourselves as an example, as what a much more efficient system can accomplish over thousands of years, versus a couple of decades of Newtonian noodling.
